C-42) and international copyright conventions including the Berne Convention.

2. What Is Protected

The following categories of content are protected and may not be reproduced, distributed, publicly performed, displayed, adapted, or used in any derivative work without prior written permission: all written text including memoir chapters, short fiction, and plays; all song lyrics and musical compositions; all photographs and portraits of Counssia Touré; the name, brand identity, and visual design of counssia.com; and all audio and video recordings linked to or embedded on this site.

3. Permitted Use

You may share links to this website and quote brief passages (no more than 50 words) for the purpose of commentary, criticism, or news reporting, provided that clear attribution is given to Counssia Touré and a link to the original source on counssia.com is included. Any use beyond this requires explicit written consent from Counssia Touré.

4. Memoir & Literary Works

The memoir, short stories, and plays published on or referenced through this site are original literary works authored by Counssia Touré. These works are registered under Canadian copyright law from the moment of their creation.
